Peruvian Paths: A Luxury Journey Through Undiscovered Peru
Introduction
All of our journeys can be completely personalized and curated with our commitment to sustainable tourism.
Journey Overview
Peru is often defined by Machu Picchu, yet the country reveals far more when its landscapes, cultures, and traditions are experienced across the full arc of the Andes.
This journey unfolds across three distinct chapters.
It begins in Lima, where Peru’s culinary renaissance has transformed the capital into one of the world’s most exciting food cities. Markets, coastal neighborhoods, and innovative restaurants introduce the country’s remarkable diversity of flavors and traditions.
From there the route moves south into the Andes, where the journey slows and landscapes grow vast. In Arequipa, colonial architecture carved from volcanic stone reflects centuries of Andean and Spanish influence.
Beyond the city, the experience becomes something few travelers encounter. A remarkable collection of intimate luxury lodges now anchors the remote landscapes of southern Peru, allowing travelers to explore the Andes in comfort while remaining deeply connected to the surrounding environment.
At Puqio in the Colca Valley, safari-style camps overlook one of the world’s deepest canyons. Tinajani Canyon Lodge sits within a surreal landscape of sculpted red rock formations on the high-altitude plateau. On the shores of Lake Titicaca, Titilaka Lodge offers a serene base from which to explore Aymara culture and the islands of the world’s highest navigable lake.
Only after this journey through Peru’s landscapes and traditions does the route arrive in the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Cusco, where the legacy of the Inca civilization provides a powerful conclusion to the experience.
This is Peru revealed gradually, through landscapes, cultures, and places to stay that few travelers know exist.
