Croatia & Montenegro by Private Yacht

Introduction

This 13-day private journey along the Adriatic combines Croatia’s island-dotted coastline with the distinctive character of Montenegro’s mountain-framed bays. Beginning in Dubrovnik and ending in Tivat, the itinerary follows the natural contours of the coast, allowing the region to unfold gradually from the water. The journey opens with time in Dubrovnik, including early-access exploration of the old town and a private evening experience on or within the city walls, arranged after public hours. From there, a 7-night private yacht charter carries the journey through southern Dalmatia, with days shaped by sailing conditions, sheltered anchorages, swimming stops, and unhurried meals onboard. The final days are spent in Montenegro, exploring the Bay of Kotor and nearby villages, where smaller towns, quiet waterfronts, and inland routes provide a contrasting close to the journey.

Journey Overview

Our exclusive 13-day private journey is shaped around how the Adriatic is most naturally experienced - from the water, with amble time to decide the pace. Beginning in Dubrovnik, the opening days focus on orientation and access, including early exploration of the old town and a privately arranged evening experience on or within the historic city walls, available only after public hours. These first days establish an easy rhythm before the transition to the sea aboard your private yacht.

From Dubrovnik, a 7-night private yacht charter carries the journey through southern Dalmatia. Days onboard are guided by sailing conditions, sheltered anchorages, and appetite, with time for swimming directly from the yacht, relaxed meals on deck, and open stretches of sea between islands. Time ashore is woven in naturally, whether to explore coastal towns, visit small producers on the Pelješac Peninsula, walk Korčula’s old town with local context, or spend time in selected island communities near Hvar. The balance between land and sea remains flexible, allowing each stop to be experienced fully without pressure to move on quickly.

The final days are spent in Montenegro, where the coastline narrows and the landscape shifts. Time in the Bay of Kotor and surrounding villages introduces a different rhythm, with small waterfront towns, historic centers, and inland routes that contrast naturally with the island days. These concluding days provide a clear close to the journey before departure.
