Skyscrapers & Seashores: The UAE and Seychelles

Destination Overview

Begin in the UAE and bustling beauty of Dubai, the world-renown city that grows every day – in almost every way!  From the incredible artificial islands of The Palm to the breathtaking heights of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, there is literally nothing Dubai doesn’t offer.

Continue to Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates capital. With a more laid-back tempo than Dubai,  Abu Dhabi is the wealth center of the UAE and quietly becoming the ‘Cultural Capital’ of the Middle East. Literally, a city built from the sand within a 30-year period, Abu Dhabi is a state-of-the-art wonder, including sustainable cities within a city, an NYU campus, a Formula 1 race track, and world-class attractions such as the architectural jewel, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.  Already drawing visitors from around the world is the Louvre Abu Dhabi, renowned not only for a stunning collection of antiquities and art but for a stunning display of architecture.  It will soon be joined by the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum.

Time now to leave one intoxicating world behind for another! Depart the UAE for Seychelles, an awe-inspiring archipelago of over 100 granite and coral islands of the coast of East Africa. A nature and beach-lovers dream, Seychelles is nothing short of paradise! Enjoy an all-inclusive stay at the lavish Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas, where your every whim and desire is catered to.  Take time to explore Mahe, Praslin, and La Digue, the only three islands inhabited on a full-time basis. Circle the island by helicopter and learn of the innovative marine conservation efforts implemented by the Seychellois government to protect these paradisical islands.

This is truly a unique combination of culture and luxury in two of the world’s most exotic destinations, and it’s yours to be had on this amazing 14-day journey!

Carbon Offset

The Evolved Traveler is allocating $95 per person* in conjunction with our partners, Offset Alliance,  to help offset this journey through verified carbon removal and reversals projects.

The amount is determined by calculating the carbon footprint for this journey considering flights to the destination, intra-tour flights if applicable, hotel stays, and ground transportation. An additional 25% is added to the static factors to offset components we cannot immediately account for, such as food.

The carbon emissions accounted for are calculated by using measurement benchmarks determined by the United Nations World Tourism Organization. The projects our carbon-offset donations are distributed to can be seen at www.offsetalliance.co/projects.

*The amount shown is an estimation for this journey. The exact will be calculated at the time of booking based on the city of origin for flights to the destination, and the specifications of the itinerary.
