Morocco is not only the epitome of exotic; it is a sensory fusion like few destinations. The wind-swept beaches of the North Atlantic lead to the peaks of the dramatic Atlas Mountains. Between them lie the timeless dunes of the Sahara and the ageless kasbahs and medinas of cities such as Casablanca, Fes, and Marrakesh, which still carry a nomadic mystique that harkens to the caravans and trade routes of millennia.
Morocco is one of the world’s most fascinating, exotic, and diverse countries – in every possible. Visiting Morocco is seemingly stepping back in time and joining an ancient caravan on the great trade routes.
Topographically, a few hours’ drive can take you from rugged coastline through forests laden with waterfalls, to the peaks of the Rif and Atlas Mountains, and of course, through the mighty Sahara Desert!
Morocco’s four Imperial Cities, Rabat, Meknes, Fes, and Marrakesh, are almost as diverse as the topography, and each a cultural treasure unto itself. Their medinas, lined with stalls filled with traditional metal workers, weavers, potters, and storekeepers of every kind, bustle with traditionally dressed locals going about life as they always have. The colorful sights and aromatic scents are dazzling at every turn.
The great Sahara is, itself, an unforgettable experience, be it taking in the sunrise or sunset from atop the mighty dunes – or sand surfing in an ATV or sandboard, or traversing the dunes on a more leisurely mode of transport, a camel, the ‘ships of the desert!’ The nightly starfields offered by the desert are sure to be one of the most memorable sights of the journey. And the Sahara is, of course, home to the ‘Road of 1000 Kasbah,’ the famed caravan route dotted with the stunning fortified cities of the Berbers.
In every direction, city, town, and medina, Morocco feels like you have stepped onto a movie set, but this is no movie; this is Morocco!

The Evolved Traveler is allocating $95 per person* in conjunction with our partners, Offset Alliance, to help offset this journey through verified carbon removal and reversals projects.
The amount is determined by calculating the carbon footprint for this journey considering flights to the destination, intra-tour flights if applicable, hotel stays, and ground transportation. An additional 25% is added to the static factors to offset components we cannot immediately account for, such as food.
The carbon emissions accounted for are calculated by using measurement benchmarks determined by the United Nations World Tourism Organization. The projects our carbon-offset donations are distributed to can be seen at www.offsetalliance.co/projects.
*The amount shown is an estimation for this journey. The exact will be calculated at the time of booking based on the city of origin for flights to the destination, and the specifications of the itinerary.
