Destination Overview

One of the world’s emerging, and most intriguing destinations, Bolivia is as complex as fascinating. Bolivia’s highest South American country boasts a staggering array of diversity in its rugged, natural beauty and cultural authenticity.

Home to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Bolivia is undoubtedly unlike anything you have experienced before. From the bustling melting pot of La Paz, at a dizzying 13,000 feet, to the ethereal salt flats of Uyuni, to the towering peaks of the Andes, to the charmed colonial Sucre, considered to be the country’s most beautiful city, to the inhabited, floating reed islands of Lake Titicaca – untouched by time -, your adventure to Bolivia will be a journey of true wonder and discovery.

While not a destination of traditional luxury and having the more basic infrastructure of a developing country, Bolivia is a paradise for travelers with a true sense of adventure-seeking to journey off the typical tourist path. Carbon Offset

The Evolved Traveler is allocating $95 per person* in conjunction with our partners, Offset Alliance,  to help offset this journey through verified carbon removal and reversals projects.

The amount is determined by calculating the carbon footprint for this journey considering flights to the destination, intra-tour flights if applicable, hotel stays, and ground transportation. An additional 25% is added to the static factors to offset components we cannot immediately account for, such as food.

The carbon emissions accounted for are calculated by using measurement benchmarks determined by the United Nations World Tourism Organization. The projects our carbon-offset donations are distributed to can be seen at

*The amount shown is an estimation for this journey. The exact will be calculated at the time of booking based on the city of origin for flights to the destination, and the specifications of the itinerary.
