Evolved Experiences allow our guests the opportunity to make a lasting impression on the communities they visit, extend their and in a gesture of global community, and create memories that can be cherished for years to come, not only for themselves but for those they visit. Your “Evolved Experience” will be a visit to the children’s community project of the Picoflor House in Oropesa. Picaflor House provides a stimulating and dynamic after school program to the children of Oropesa and several small villages in the surrounding rural area. The organization began working with five children two days a week at the local school in Oropesa. Over the past three years Picaflor House has grow to provide comprehensive after school program that provides homework help, reading comprehension and mathematics classes, English classes and a variety of non-academic activities such as arts, sports, music traditional dance and chess.
Our goal is to create a positive and lasting impact wherever we go. One way we endeavor to do this is to promote change through Responsible and Sustainable Tourism. Here are some of the ways your journey will make a difference with regards to Sustainable Tourism.
In Peru, we are proud to visit and support Hacienda Sarapamapa. This third-generation plantation is one of the largest white corn growers in the Sacred Valley. The hacienda has not only implemented a platform of sustainable agriculture but employs women from local towns and empowers these ladies by paying them directly in addition, they work only the hours that best suits them so they may attend to their families as well. Guests of The Evolved Traveler will enjoy a private tour of Hacienda Sarapamapa along with a farm-to-table lunch.
The Evolved Traveler donates a portion of proceeds from every custom land journey to charitable causes around the world, so our guests can be assured that their travels are making a difference right from the very start. Proceeds donated on our guests behalf from each of their journeys and consists of environmental donations to Carbonfund.org . And Global Wildlife Conservation, and the remaining proceeds are chosen directly by our guess from a variety of our international and domestic charity partners
