Bhutan Vaccinates 93 Percent of Population in 2 Weeks

In an article put out by National Public Radio (NPR), it took Bhutan, ‘the Kingdom of Happiness, less than three weeks to vaccinate 93% of its population. With an age range of 18 – 104 (!), the total number vaccinated is just less than 500,000, according to the country’s Ministry of Tourism. Bhutan’s vaccination efforts only began on March 27, and they had reached over 90% of the population in nearly two weeks. We look forward to visiting Bhutan soon!
